Welcome to..
Cheshire Wildlife Watch
Wildlife Watch forms the junior branch of the Wildlife Trusts and is the UK's leading club for young environmentalists. It is made up of a network of local groups, run by trained and CRB checked volunteers who organise environmental activities for children. Children join Wildlife Watch nationally and are then able to attend local groups, take part in projects, and enjoy the National Magazine and local Newsletter.

There are Watch events all over Cheshire, why not come along to one and join the fun.
Time on your hands? We have a range of Activity Sheets to keep you busy - lots of fun wildlife-related things you can do at home or with your friend - just right for holidays and weekends.
The aims of Wildlife Watch:
- To open young peoples eyes to their surroundings.
- To help young people appreciate and understand the influences, which have shaped their environment.
- To encourage a caring attitude towards wildlife and participation in conservation
- Enable young people to influence the future of the environment.
We try to accomplish these aims by:
- Creating factual, informal, fun ways to investigate our surroundings, in safety.
- Providing safe opportunities for young people to help wildlife and improve the environment.
- Making information about local wildlife, the environment and its conservation accessible and exciting.
- Creating accessible, relevant and exciting information and resources.
Local Groups run in some parts of Cheshire and county events are organised by the CWT Watch Co-ordinator. Why not come along and join in, have fun and discover more about your local wildlife.
Any further enquiries from potential members or potential volunteers please forward to Gill Bellairs or Jan Shone at CWT (01948 820728 or email us).
