Local Branches

Local Branches promote and represent Herefordshire Nature Trust in the local community and involve both Trust members and non-members. They are run by volunteers for anyone who is committed to wildlife and its protection. Open to all, you'll receive a warm friendly welcome.

Can you give a little extra support to your local group?

Local Branches need dedicated people to keep things moving: meetings secretaries, sales people, treasurers, fundraisers, walk leaders and talk organisers.

If you would like to help - get in touch with your local group.

By being involved in a local branch you can:

  • learn about wildlife
  • offer conservation help in your local area
  • help to organise events
  • help to raise funds to protect local wildlife
  • help others to enjoy wildlife and wild places
  • make new friends
  • enjoy common interests with other people

Events organised by local branches throughout the year might include:

  • nature walks
  • visits to nature reserves
  • slide shows and talks
  • fundraising events
  • social events
