Terns, Tides & People
An Educational Project at Cemlyn Reserve

funded by

This is a collaborative project run by the North Wales Wildlife Trust and funded by Anglesey County Council through the AONB’s Sustainable Development Fund. Its aims are to raise local awareness of conservation and biodiversity, principally by organising events at Cemlyn and through the production of Cemlyn-related interpretation material.
A big part of this project has been the involvement of local schools in a programme of field trips at the reserve. These visits were designed to enable pupils to discover the richness of wildlife at Cemlyn, and to help put it in the context of more general environmental issues.
