Frances Cattanach - Director
Favourite Place - Too many to mention, but if pressed, Abel Tasman National Park, South Island, New Zealand, Coed Crafnant Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve or my allotment.
It was hearing a nightingale singing in a bush that inspired me about the natural world as a child, and led me to lots of volunteering and an MSc in Ecology in Bangor. I was Conservation Officer with the Wildlife Trust for many years, and although I rarely use my ecological skills now, I’m sure they’re valuable in my current post.Chris Wynne - Conservation Officer (North-west Wales)
Favourite spot - Too many to mention but as long as I could be with my my three favourite people I wouldn't care
Being 6'1" has played no important role in helping me get a Biological degree in London, an MSc in Bangor or several years volunteering with the Wildlife Trust. It does help when looking around while standing in reedbeds which is often required in this job.
