| The
Manor and Castle Environmental Action Plan is a regeneration project
designed to make every bit of greenspace in the project area, covering
Manor, Castle, Wybourn and Parkhill, valued in some way. The job of the
Environmental Action Plan is to make the local environment as pleasant as
possible for residents, making it safe, clean and worth visiting. Over the
next few years Sheffield Wildlife Trust plan, through a community led
approach, to turn wasteland into productive land. Productive in all ways
for wildlife, for recreation, for food and tree production, to create
jobs, for training, to bring out the Manor’s rich heritage for walking,
cycling and so on. In short, a wonderful place for people and wildlife.
