Although not strictly an event, environmental art is a useful form of interpretation for sites. Ranging from sculpture and murals to mosaics and huge climbing boulders, environmental art is a way of getting people involved with their local open space, stirring their imagination and interest about a site and educating them about it. If you include environmental art on your site your group could use this as the starting point for an event, where local people can come along and help create art for themselves. |
