Norfolk Park Sculptures

Norfolk Park in the centre of Sheffield is a fine example of how urban green space can be transformed by environmental art. Sculptor, JasonThomas was commissioned by Sheffield Wildlife Trust to carve wooden sculptures for Ithe jervis Lum Nature Trail in the park.

Insects carved from beech and sweet chestnut include an ant on an apple core, a fly on a bottle and a wasp on a seed. A giant totem pole and and various wooden mushrooms, complete the experience and act as focal points for people to come together
