Wood Lane Wildlife Pond

Sheffield City Council created a small pond at Sheffield Wildlife Trust’s Wood Lane site which can be used by local schoolchildren for pond dipping. It is a good example of how a small wildlife pond can be constructed and has increased in diversity every year. It has become a major educational resource and a haven for aquatic wildlife, amphibians and birds.
