Upperthorpe Peace Garden

Upperthorpe peace garden is a community garden, built on Daniel Hill open space. It was developed by Upperthorpe Environment Group and Daniel Hill Primary School children with the help of Sheffield Wildlife Trust and Sheffield City Council rangers, using funds from ICI and the North West Inner City Action Project. This area was transformed into a beautiful wildlife garden with over 600 flowers and included a sensory area for blind people, a mosaic and gates designed by the residents. It provides an area of serenity for locals to enjoy and care for.
